When I saw this fabulous gold sequin and blush dress I just knew I had to feature it somewhere so decided then and there that our next board would be full of luxe gold and dusky pink inspiration - I almost felt like a bride finding my perfect bridesmaids dresses! This colour combination really is dreamy but I love how the gold adds that bit of luxury on top of such soft tones. This is definitely one look that would work in all seasons but be absolutely stunning in the right Autumn setting. I still can't get over how fabulous that dress is - but what do you think, love it or too much? x

Brrr, what a dismal old day it is out there! Perfect for stayng indoors and browing the web for lovely things to share! I thought it might be timely to share with you again, some of our inspiration boards, starting with some gorgeous Winter wedding inspiration.
Winter really is that season where you just want to wrap up warm, but on the up side it is perfect for incorporating gorgeous snuggly fur inspired wraps with bright Winter white accessories which really do look fabulous teamed with hints of blue-grey or warm wood as a colour theme. I really love this white XOXO letterpress stationery suite and that Wintery table centrepiece (although it does also remind me of a white Christmas!) - and what better way to have a true white wedding with snow as a backdrop! Keep warm x

The trend for all things Vintage in the wedding world continues and nothing is more adorable than flowergirls and pageboys in sweet little vintage outfits. Lullabybirds specialise in vintage-inspired clothing, which are arguably the most adorable clothes ever and chic enough to be worn to any wedding celebration. Check out the Converse shoes, soooo cute!

Wedding themes with rustic elements are as popular as ever and if you are getting married around Christmas time then this theme could be perfect for you! The team at As You Wish Events created this wonderful table setting that is decidedly Kiwi and reflects our summer Christmas.

How fantastic are these ice balls! A nice change from the traditional ice cubes, they look great in cocktail glasses, drink dispensers and punch bowls! Add berries, mint or even edible glitter for a fun festive look.

Todays Friday I'm In Love showcases flowers. Anyone that knows me knows that I adore Peonies. As a florist, I get very excited when I see the first of those big luscious blooms start to appear. The fact that they are only in season for a few short months makes them extra special and highly sought after. For Charmed Flowers, today, was the first wedding of the season using beautiful and vibrant Coral Peonies and I hope to share pictures of these with you soon. In the meantime, feast your eyes on this beauitful image from The Pretty Blog. The use of different flowers and foliage such as Peonies, David Austin Roses, Roses, Lambs Ear and Willow provide texture and a wonderful burst of colour against the crisp white Church. A special moment for the Bride and Groom is captured perfectly by photographer Nicole Mehl, I think they are about to shake hands!.
Have a wonderful relaxing long weekend everyone, we know of at least 3 couples getting married and we wish you all much Love, Laughter and Ever After x
