Rustic Country Love

Oh for the love of all things country! It's amazing how popular the Rustic/Vintage/Country look is now. It seems brides these days are trying to portray a much more natural, relaxed and earthy feel to their big day. If you are thinking of a planning a Rustic Country theme to your wedding day, the words: twine, burlap, bunting, hay bales, chalkboards and vintage lace will probably feature quite heavily when describing the smaller details.

There is something very natural, romantic and heartfelt about this theme. It's almost like something out of a Jane Austin novel! I mean, just look at that gorgeous photo of the couple on the swing, such a gorgeous way to show off the dress and the love they have for each other. A clever idea to wrap the invitations in doilies and twine to continue the theme throughout and the little flowergirl in her rodeo cowboy boots is just too cute for words. What a great idea having long ribbon streamers flowing down from the bride and bridesmaid bouquets and I just adore that rustic posie tied together with brown string. And be sure to take a look at that amazing Claire Pettibone ivory lace dress in more detail here. To. Die. For.

Now, where's that copy of Pride and Prejudice...
